How trends are measured
Every trend compares a team or player with itself using only games already played: Last 5 vs season sets recent form against the whole season so far, and Season vs earlier shows how the season-to-date rank has moved since a few weeks ago. Ranks are among all FBS teams, or among qualified players at the position. Streaks count consecutive games better than that week's FBS average.
