Each sport has its own purpose-built quantitative model. Every day it prices each game on the slate, compares that price with the betting market, and releases an official play only when our number and the market’s price disagree by enough to matter. Every official play is sent with its price, book, unit size and a writeup.

Every model is tested on games it has not seen before it goes live. How each model is built is proprietary.

Official plays are what we bet: each one is emailed with the price of record, the book and the unit size, and every one is graded in public on Results.

Leans are directional opinions with a smaller edge. They are not official plays, they are not part of the record, and no plan is sold on them.

Units are a percentage of your bankroll. We recommend treating 1 unit = 1% of your sports betting bankroll. For example, with a $10,000 bankroll: 1u = $100. This keeps any single loss small relative to your total and lets you weather normal variance. Never bet more than you can afford to lose in a session.

Most official plays go out in the morning email, around 7:30 a.m. PT. Some go out the evening before or later in the day when the price is right. Every official play is emailed before its game starts, so check your inbox rather than the clock.

We don't have a paid relationship with any book. For best results: shop lines across at least 2-3 books before placing. DraftKings, FanDuel, and BetMGM tend to have competitive MLB and NHL moneylines. For spreads and totals, compare every legal book you can use; the Odds Board shows the best price across books for every game. A 1-2 point line difference can meaningfully affect your ROI over a season.

ROI = net profit (in units) ÷ total units risked × 100. For moneyline bets, a win at +130 returns 1.3u on 1u risked. For ATS bets at standard -110, a win returns 1u on 1.1u risked. We report both flat-unit ROI and risk-adjusted ROI where relevant.

Every model is tested on games it had not seen before it goes live. Since launch, every live play is logged and graded publicly on the results page.

No. Sports markets are competitive and edges can erode. We monitor every model's live results and closing line value (CLV), and we retire what stops working — even if its history was strong. The honest answer is that no sports model can guarantee continued profitability, and anyone who tells you otherwise is lying.

Log in, open Pricing, and click Manage / Cancel Subscription in the Your Subscription panel at the top. We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee for new subscribers. If you're unsatisfied within 7 days of your first payment, contact us for a full refund. After 7 days, subscriptions are non-refundable as cash — but the losing-month guarantee below still applies for as long as you stay subscribed, and you can cancel anytime.

If we have a losing month, your next month is free. Every official play is published on the Results page as it is graded. If that official plays record finishes a calendar month down in units, every active paid subscriber on an eligible term gets one free month at their current tier. The guarantee is available on one-month terms and longer; two-week terms are not eligible.

• How it is measured: the official plays record for the calendar month, in units, exactly as published on the Results page and in the monthly recap. It is the same number you can see and check yourself — there is no separate internal tally and nothing is adjusted after the fact.
• How you claim it: you don't. On the 1st of the following month the credit is applied automatically to every eligible subscription that was active and paid at the end of the losing month — no form, no email, no support ticket. We email you to confirm, and the monthly recap says it has been applied.
• What you get: an account credit worth one month of your plan at the price you pay, which comes off your next renewal automatically. On a one-month term your next month is free; on a longer term, one month’s worth comes off your next renewal.

This is separate from the 7-day refund above and is not limited to new subscribers — it applies every month you are subscribed on an eligible term. A losing month means the published units figure for that calendar month is below zero; a month that finishes flat or positive does not trigger it. One credit per losing month. The credit is account credit, not cash.

Everything in Official Plays, plus Ask G&W to operate G&W with plain English: build and save a Research Lab system, screen teams and players, check any upcoming game, log a bet or update My Books (you confirm each), and see how our official plays have done by sport, market, season or month. 50 questions a day (Analytics and Official Plays get 3 a month).

If we change the price of a plan, we will tell you before it applies to your next renewal, and you can cancel before then.
