NHL Referees
Home records, overs and whistle habits for every referee, season by season.
How to read this page
Reading the officials table
Each row is one referee's games in the season you pick. Home is how home teams did straight up in those games; Overs is how often the game went over the closing total. The whistle columns show power plays and penalty minutes per game, with the league average in the first row.
Habits. Coloured chips mark whistle habits (high or low) against the rest of the league over every game since 2018-19; these carry over from season to season. Records are shown as they are; one is highlighted only when it stands out by more than a sample that size usually would.
Samples. The letter after each record is its sample: S under 50 decisions, M 50 to 149, L 150 or more.
Free and members. Every season's table is free. Situations (primetime, neutral site, home or road favourite, divisional, playoffs, total and spread bands, weather and rest, any range of seasons), career and since-2021 splits, overs against our own betting number and each official's recent game log are part of Analytics, and every higher plan includes them.
