How to read NBA odds
The spread is the margin a favorite must win by (the minus side) or an underdog can lose by (the plus side). The total is the combined points for the over or under. The moneyline is the price to win outright: −150 means risk $150 to win $100; +130 means $100 wins $130. Lines here are the consensus across major US books.
How to use them
- Compare the current line with the opener to see which way the market has moved.
- Lower hold means a fairer market; shop the best price on the Odds Board before you bet.
- Use the no-vig calculator to turn any two prices into fair odds.
