What do NFL matchups show?
Each game pairs one team's offense rank with the other team's defense rank on EPA per play. A top-5 offense against a bottom-5 defense is a mismatch; two top-10 units cancel out.
How to use them
- Look for the biggest gap in each game: that is the side most likely to move the ball.
- Open the Lab matchup for passing, rushing, red-zone and pressure splits.
- Check the odds and weather for the same game before you decide.
